Eugene joined GMK Partners in 1999 to establish our Tax Division. Today he is a recognised authority within the profession and an essential adviser to many clients.

Prior to joining us, Eugene spent nine years at Ernst & Young. He also established and led the tax consulting practice at Webb Martin, a provider of tax training for accountants. Eugene's experience there gave him a unique insight into issues practitioners face with SMEs and the areas accounting firms can let them down.

Prior to joining GMK Partners in 1995 John was an auditing/tax specialist at KPMG, Sothertons and ITP. He has also run his own practice.

A highly principled professional, John delivers independent, unbiased advice and involves his clients in all processes and decisions while clearly communicating his actions and their outcomes. Antony joined GMK Partners in 1998, drawn by the strong, personal relationships we enjoy with our clients. Prior to joining GMK Partners in 1997, Laurence was a research analyst at Australian Equities Research, one of Australia's first independent equities research firms. In this role he prepared research reports, with an emphasis on diversified resource companies, briefed stockbrokers and regularly contributed to numerous publications. His research was used by a large number of private client stockbrokers, financial planners and retail investors.

Laurence's energy and diligence are underscored by strong technical and analytical abilities. His financial skills are greatly valued by our many clients and he is a great mentor for younger staff.

Laurence's open, transparent client relationships give him a detailed understanding of clients' business and/or personal affairs. His team strives to deliver a range of services typically associated with a much larger firm, but with a personal touch.

Before joining GMK Partners as a Director of the Taxation Consulting division, Chris was a partner at BDO. He has over 20 years of taxation law experience and providing high-level corporate and international tax advice to clients including large multinationals.

Chris is an experienced speaker for the Tax Institute of Australia and regularly presents at various professional seminars, conventions and conferences.

Chris's experience is invaluable to GMK Partners, having built countless strong client relationships.

Gary came to Australia from Cape Town, South Africa, in 1998 after being seconded by a 'big four' accounting firm. There he was involved in the audit of several top 100 listed Australian companies and the implementation of a large SAP project.

Since joining GMK Partners in 2000, Gary has been involved in a wide range of professional practices, and clients include family businesses, investors, high-net-worth and high-profile individuals and professionals.

He is a committed team player focused on understanding clients' business objectives and tax requirements. He has been extremely successful in building robust and long-standing relationships with a particular focus on the retail pharmaceutical industry.

Snehal joined GMK Partners Business Services Division in 2006 and was appointed Director in 2011.

Since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in India in 1986, Snehal has always worked in accordance to his personal philosophy regarding client service– competence, credibility and concern for clients. This genuine, abiding interest in client welfare enables Snehal to explain complex financial concepts in easy to understand terms and consistently outperform client expectations building strong and lasting relationships.

Arriving in Australia in 2001, Snehal worked as an auditor and accountant for five years in Alice Springs and was a founding partner of a new start-up practice prior to joining GMK Partners.
